Swarovski - Brand Documentary
Created for Swarovski Kristallwelten in Vienna, this film documents Biomorphism, a series of five immersive art spaces designed by Iris van Herpen for the tenth anniversary of the Swarovski Kristallwelten Store Wien. The project brought together Swarovski’s world of crystal with van Herpen’s sculptural language of movement, transformation, nature, and the body.
The installations were created in collaboration with set designer and art director Rhea Thierstein and a wider group of artists including Valter Adam Casotto, Tristan Schoonraad, Martina Sandona, Bernd Weinmayer, Warren du Preez, Nick Thornton Jones, and Iekeliene Stange.
The film follows the making of these surreal window installations and larger-than-life crystal works, capturing the delicate process behind a project where fashion, sculpture, glass, light, and dreamlike storytelling meet. Centered on the theme of lucid dreaming, Biomorphism explores the fragile line between reality and illusion, turning the Swarovski flagship into a living, crystalline environment.
